County Board gives the City of Decorah until October 6th to get its data off the former shared county-city server

County Attorney Andy Van Der Maaten has been instructed to send a letter to the City of Decorah, telling the city that the county expects the city to remove its data from the county's servers by October 6th.

The letter is the latest development in a long process that started in April when the city notified the county that it was considering hiring its own IT staff.  Here are past decorahnews.com stories about the process:
