An official farewell for the 322nd Engineer Company, which has been headquartered in Decorah at the Army Reserve Center, will be held this Sunday morning.
The Army Reserve Center will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, with the flag folding ceremony to follow at 11:00 a.m.
The unit is in the process of relocating to Sloan, Nevada. The move was made in an attempt to get more recruits in the new location. The 322nd is authorized for up to 160 soldiers, but has been in the neighborhood of 40 soldiers recently.
