The eventual goal of the International Security Forces in Afghanistan is to turn over their duties to the Afghan Army.

That's why one project done by soldiers from Decorah's 322nd Engineering Battalion was so important.  They built a training facility for Afghan soldiers and police officers at Forward Operating Base Walton.  The large facility has plenty of space for a variety of training programs.
