Winneshiek County Recycling Center offers free document shredding

It's that time of year when people are motiviated to clean out closets, organize clutter, and get rid of unncessary "stuff." If one of those tasks involves shredding documents, the Winneshiek County Recycling Center can help.

The recycling center has an industrial document shredder available for use, free of charge, for Winneshiek County residents and businesses. There is no limit to the quantity of documents that can be brought in to be shredded, but the shredder is only operated when the recycling center has a large quantity to shred and they have staff time to do it.
