#9 story of 2015: Mumford & Sons picks Waverly & Wartburg over Decorah & Luther

The British folk rock group "Mumford & Sons" wanted to perform in Decorah during 2015--it really did.  But the idea got shot down by Luther College officials, who wouldn't allow the college's grounds to be used for overnight camping for fans of the group.

The summer concert drew grew crowds, had few problems and contributed bundles of money to the community.
