Tuesday's snowstorm dumped up to 12 inches of snow in Iowa—just not on NE Iowa!
The National Weather Service out of La Crosse is reporting the following totals:
*3.1 inches 5 miles SE of Decorah
*3.0 inches in Dorchester
*2.6 inches in Rochester
*2.4 inches in La Crosse
*2.3 inches in Calmar
*2 inches 8 miles ENE of Decorah
The totals are less than the original predicted amounts of snowfall for our area, but the sledding hills, cross country skiing trails, snowshoeing routes, and front-yard-fort-builders have just enough to invite the community to get outside and enjoy it.
