Two-vehicle accident on College Drive Friday evening does $13,000 in damages

Decorah Police were called to College Drive shortly before 5:00 Friday afternoon.

31-year-old Michael Rogers of Decorah had put on his turn signal to show he was turning off College Drive, but 16-year-old Haley Gossman of Decorah missed the signal and plowed into the back of Rogers' vehicle.

Gossman's vehicle was totaled in the accident.  Rogers' vehicle had $3,000 worth of damages.

Neither driver was injured.  Police ruled Gossman caused the accident, but they did not issue a ticket.
