Second arrest made as the result of a drug raid in Calmar

26-year-old Brandon Nordschow of Decorah has been arrested and charged with two counts of Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine & marijuana) following a search at 106 East Main Street in Calmar.

The arrest was the second this month in Calmar from a lengthy joint investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and Calmar Police.  Earlier this month, 38-year-old Keri Strong was taken into custody at 108 East Main Street and charged with two counts of Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine & marijuana)

 

As with Strong's arrest, the Sheriff's Office says of Nordschow's arrest, "This case remains under investigation, with additional arrests and charges pending."
