Work on the Decorah softball complex is continuing as planned

The updates to the Decorah High School softball complex are progressing as expected and on schedule.

"No news is good news!" Decorah Superintendent Mark Lane said at Monday evening's school board meeting when the agenda item was up for discussion.

The footings are poured and underground electrical and floor pouring occurred the week of October 5th. Work on the restroom and concession stand area began this week, along with work on the center bleachers.

The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2021 before the Vikings softball season begins.
