Luther College will use in-person instruction and residential living on campus when its fall quarter begins in early October.
The college is able to take the step because of the nearly 500 COVID-19 test results received in September, only one test result has been positive. There currently are no quarantines of students due to a positive COVID-19 test, symptoms of COVID-19 or even from being a close contact of someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
The current plan is subject to change, based on future developments.
Luther officials say they so far have worked to contain the spread of COVID-19 on campus. However, they're asking students to continue to wear face masks and to practice physical distancing.
