Drivers will find steady gasoline prices as they hit the road over Labor Day Weekend

The Iowa-Minnesota AAA says the average price of a gallon of gasoline is holding steady over the Labor Day Weekend, as gas demand continues to decline.
Since Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has held steady at $2.23, which is one cent more than a week ago, five cents more than a month ago and 34 cents lower than a year ago.
The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Iowa is $2.11. Gas prices in Decorah are $2.29 a gallon. The lowest price in Iowa of a gallon of regular gas is in Ankeny, where it is selling for $1.73.
