The ballot is set for Winneshiek County elections on November 3rd

Winneshiek County Auditor Ben Steines is publicizing the list of County Board candidates in the November 3rd election. Steines has released a list of the names which will appear on the fall ballot:
In the county board's District 3, Democrat Shirley Vermace will face Republican Julie Askelson.
In District 4, Democrat Caithlin Palmer will face Republican Daniel Langreck and Independent Alvin Herold.
In District 5, Incumbent Democrat Mark Kuhn will face Republican Mark Vick and Independent Scott H. Fjelstul of Ridgeway.
Steines will be unopposed on the ballot for another term as County Auditor, while County Sheriff Dan Marx and County Treasurer Brenda Kreitzer will also run unopposed.
Absentee voting through the mail and in-person will begin October 5th. All registered voters in Iowa will be getting an absentee ballot request form in the mail from the Secretary of State in the first part of September. Forms need to be completed, including an Iowa Drivers License Number or Voter PIN number if the voter does not have a Drivers License. Forms also need to be signed by the voter. Completed forms should be returned to the Auditor's Office by dropping them off or mailing them to: 201 W Main St, Decorah IA 52101.
