Letter to the Editor: Wear a mask!

The following letter to the editor was submitted by Martha Davis of Decorah:

"A nice man from Des Moines reminded me yesterday of signs that have been posted in store windows for many years. One said, 'We reserve the right to deny service to anyone not wearing shoes,' while another said, 'No shirt, no shoes, no service.' Have you seen anyone recently standing outside Fareway shouting "I have the right not to wear shoes?"

The old adage says 'your rights end where my nose begins.' Wear a mask covering your mouth AND nose so I'll have the right not to get sick or die."
