


The Eveleth (MN) Police Department says 73-year-old Richard Zahasky and 68-year-old Rosie Zahasky of Decorah were occupants on a plane which crashed near the Eveleth Airport on Sunday.
Both passengers were treated at a nearby hospital for minor injuries and have since been released.
KBJR-TV in Duluth reports that the Zahaskys had been heading back to Iowa when the plane experienced engine problems. Rick Zahasky attempted to land at the Eveleth-Virginia airport, but crashed.
The accident remains under investigation by the FAA.
