Two motor vehicle accidents happened Sunday

Sunday afternoon, 19-year-old Jacob Voigt of Decorah was injured in a car accident. Voigt was traveling west on County Road B16, and for an unknown medical reason, he left the roadway and entered the north ditch. Voigt was injured and an ambulance was called for transport. Total property damage was $2,000.

The same afternoon, 53-year-old David Olmscheid of Buffalo, Minnesota was traveling west on Pole Line Road and lost control while negotiating a left hand curve. Olmscheid entered the ditch, and he and his passenger were both thrown from the motorcycle. No ambulance transport was needed. Total property damage was $10,000.
