The City of Decorah is changing its COVID-19 response plan. The Decorah City Council voted 7-0 Monday night to reopen City Hall, adding an amendment that masks must be worn by visitors.
Doors to City Hall have been unlocked, and masks and hand sanitizers are available at the entrances. Public restrooms in City Hall also have been reopened.
Still to come will be a new window to administrative offices at City Hall which keeps visitors in the lobby, but allows them to speak to workers in the administrative offices.
Board meetings and commission meetings will resume in the manner they were held prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Meetings will also be held via Zoom for anyone uncomfortable with in-person attendance.
