UPDATE: Alliant Energy offers energy efficiency auditors for agricultural businesses

Posted: Tue, Jun 9, 2020 11:10 AM

A recent decorahnews.com story about a new energy audit program co-sponsored by Luther College's Center for Sustainable Communities and the Winneshiek Energy District incorrectly stated that Alliant Energy has discontinued energy audits for farms and other agricultural businesses.

In fact, the Alliant Energy Agriculture Solutions Program is still in operation.  It conducts energy efficiency audits for farms, coops, feed mills, greenhouses and other entities that produce or process ag products. This free service is performed by Alliant Energy agriculture representatives.  They have information about qualifying equipment and can provide rebate forms, help in filling out and submitting the forms and assistance with all phases of project development and implementation.

For more information, contact the Alliant Energy Dealer Network at (319) 237-3856 or email alliantenergydealers@franklinenergy.com.
