Calmar man arrested for driving while barred

28-year-old Timothy Huinker of Calmar was arrested on Tuesday at 9:27 p.m. on a charge of driving while barred.

The Decorah Police Department initiated a traffic stop for a burnt out headlight on Huinker's vehicle. After doing a driver's license check, it was discovered that Huinker had a barred license. He was then taken into custody.
