Minnesota man is ticketed after rear end accident

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies have given a ticket to an Ostrander, Minnesota man following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 52.

Cody Drinkall was traveling south on Highway 52 while 59-year-old Alan Lechtenberg of Calmar was stopped in the south bound lane waiting to turn east on Union Prairie Road. Drinkall rear ended Lechtenberg.

Both vehicles were totaled. No ambulance transport was needed. Drinkall was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
