Two-vehicle accident in Decorah causes $6,500 in damages

A Decorah woman was ticketed following a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning at West Main Street and Mechanic Street.

Police say 23-year-old Savannah Beeson entered the intersection without stopping at a stop sign and struck an SUV driven by 42-year-old Lara Martinsen-Burrell of Decorah.

There were no injuries.  Decorah Police investigated Beeson for driving while impaired and are continuing to investigate the accident.
