Decorah Fareway is giving away masks

Fareway has begun distributing more than 35,000 free masks to its customer.

The Iowa Governor's Office, the Iowa Department of Public Health and HanesBrands, Inc. donated the masks. They are being distributed in all 108 Fareway stores in the grocery chain.

Decorah Fareway store manager David Noack says the Decorah store has received a limited number of masks, so it's asking that families pick up just one package.

The masks will be provided to customers on a first-come, first-served basis, until they are gone. Ask for a package of masks at the checkout aisles.
