Winneshiek County Master Gardeners create a "seed library"

A new seed library has been built and installed in front of the Winnehiek County Extension and Outreach Office at 325 Washington Street in Decorah.

Members of the Winneshiek County Master Gardeners built the seed library and stocked it with seeds people can take home for free.  The intention is that people will plant the seeds and then reap the rewards of growing their own vegetables, grains, herbs & flowers.

The Winneshiek County Master Gardeners are also accepting donations of extra seeds from the public.
