Law enforcement dispatchers are being honored this week

Emergency Dispatchers in Winneshiek County and through the U.S. are being recognized this week, which is National Telecommunicators Week.

This is a time to recognize the work of emergency personnel who take calls on what may be a person's worst day of their life.

The importance of dispatchers has never been greater than during the current coronavirus outbreak.
