


Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced on Tuesday 189 additional positive cases of COVID-19, for a total of 1,899 positive cases.
Citing statistics from the Iowa Department of Public Health, the governor says 790 Iowa diagnosed with COVID-19 have now recovered. She also announced that Tuesday's total of new positive cases was impacted by the reporting of 86 positive cases of COVID-19 at the Tyson plant in Louisa County.
There have been an additional 481 negative tests for a total of 17,467 negative tests to date, which includes testing reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs.
