The Winneshiek County Courthouse is not open to the public during the coronavirus outbreak. Offices remain in operation and can be contacted by e-mail, by telephone or by mail. Now there's a fourth way to contact county offices.
A new mail lockbox has been installed for people who want to save a stamp on a mailing. The lockbox is secure—as its name implies—and is opened every weekday morning. It's a way for people to make property tax payments or get a document or message to any of the offices in the Courthouse.
The dropbox is located near the Courthouse, just off the parking lot, near the main building entrance.
