Winneshiek County Democrats postpone their St. Patrick's Day fundraiser

Winneshiek County Democrats will NOT celebrate St. Patrick's Day at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at The Lingonberry at 218 West Water Street in downtown Decorah.  That's because the event has been postponed due to concerns about coronavirus.

An e-mail from the Democratic Party said, "We have not experienced anything like this in living memory, so it feels a little strange to take these actions, but it's important to prepare for the possible spread of the virus by limiting gatherings before it shows up in our area."
