Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx officially announces his re-election bid

Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx says he plans to seek re-election in November.

Marx was appointed unanimously by the county board of supervisors in 2015 to fill the remainder of Sheriff Leon Bohr's term, following Bohr's retirement.  Marx was elected to a full term in 2016.

Says Marx, "We will continue working with our communities to deliver the highest level of services and support to all the citizens of Winneshiek County."  He adds, "It has been a true honor and privilege to serve the people of Winneshiek County.  I sincerely appreciate all the continued support given to me and our office."
