Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer "very concerned" about dismissal of Acting Director of National Intelligence

Eastern Iowa Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer says she's very concerned about this week's developments involving Acting National Intelligence Director Joseph Maguire.  Maguire was dismissed by President Trump because he was angry about a briefing to members of Congress that said Russia is interferring in the 2020 election.

"I take this very seriously," Finkenauer said to local reporters before a town hall meeting in Decorah on Friday.  "The frustrating part of this," she said, is that the House of Representatives has done its job by passing the Election Security Bill--a bill that now sits without any action by the Senate.

Finkenauer also told reporters that some 400 bills approved by the House of Representatives have not been acted upon by the Senate, including 275 bills which had bipartisan support.
