Decorah Police: Counterfeit $100 bill found

Decorah Police are warning businesses and the public that a counterfeit $100 bill has been found on the sidewalk in front of a business in the 100 block of East Water Street.

A news release from the police says, "Decorah Police would like to alert citizens and businesses of the possibility of fake bills being in the area."

If anyone finds a counterfeit bill or a bill they suspect might be fake, they are being asked to contact the Decorah Police Department.
