What should Decorah look like in ten years? Local groups are meeting to discuss that issue

Representatives from nine Decorah organizations will meet later this month to share their visions and plans for the next ten years.

Representatives from Winneshiek County Development and Tourism, the City of Decorah, Winneshiek County, Decorah Community School District, Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, Luther College, Winneshiek Medical Center, Vesterheim Museum and Decorah Jobs will discuss where they would like to be in ten years and how the organizations can work with one another to make that happen.

Said WCDT Executive Director Stephanie Fromm, "We don't want to be working at cross purposes when we could be strategically working together to maximize all our opportunities."
