Decorah Public Library may be given funds to hire an Administrative Coordinator

Decorah Mayor Lorraine Borowski visited with members of the Decorah Library Board this week to give them an update about the library's request for $69,000 in city funds for an Administrative Coordinator. The position has been vacant since Kristin Torresdal was promoted from that job to the job of Library Director.

The mayor told the Library Board that work is continuing on the city budget for next year, but it's possible the Administrative Coordinator position would be funded for half a year.
