City of Decorah and Decorah School District will continue talks about a new elementary school site

City of Decorah and Decorah School District representatives will continue discussions about the location of a new elementary school.

A recent initial meeting consisted of three focus areas--understanding the common interests, idealized design, and an open forum.  Decorah City Council member Emily Neal has volunteered to join Superintendent Mark Lane in co-chairing the task force.

Lane said, "It's great to be back at the table to figure out what our goals are, what overlapping interests we share, and what an ideal future would look like."
