One person already says she will run for the Winneshiek County Board

With the announcement from Winneshiek county Supervisor Dean Thompson that he will not seek re-election this fall, one person has already said she's planning to be a candidate.

Shirley Vermace says she is doing "preliminary planning now."  Nomination papers will not be accepted untilMonday, March 2nd, with nomination papers needing to be filed by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25th.  There will be a primary election held June 2nd.
