Turnout was strong for Winneshiek County Democratic Presidential Caucuses

406 people caucused at the Danan Lansing Building

Four years ago, around 200 people attended the Democratic Presidential Caucus in Precinct #2 in Decorah. On Monday night, that figure was 406 people.

The 206 people turning out in 2016 made Precinct #2 one of the highest vote totals in Winneshiek County. This year, another caucus at Decorah Middle School, Precinct #4, had 334 people participating.
