Accident on Lundy Bridge Road causes $12,000 in damages

A Decorah man suffered minor injuries in an accident around 3:00 Friday afternoon on Lundy Bridge Road.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 66-year-old Gary Smorstad was traveling west on the road with a load of round bales when he lost control and rolled the tractor and trailer into the south ditch. 

Smortstad was taken by private vehicle to Winneshiek Medical Center with minor injuries.  The accident did $12,000 in damages.
