Decorah High School's 32nd Annual Madrigal Dinner will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2nd, at Decorah High School. Those attending should be seated by 2:50 p.m.
Advanced tickets are $25 each and will be sold at the Decorah HS main office during school hours beginning on Tuesday. Only 220 tickets are available. Tickets will be sold until noon on Wednesday, January 29th. This event has sold out in the past.
If guests would like to sit together, tickets must be purchased as a group. Each table will seat six people, and seating will be assigned with consideration given to the order tickets are purchased.
Each ticket includes a meal of wassail punch, field greens salad, herbed focaccia bread, roasted loin of pork with chimichurri sauce, mashed red potatoes, steamed green beans & carrots, pumpkin or chocolate chip cheesecake, and coffee. Advanced orders of vegetarian entrees and gluten-free options are available when purchasing tickets.
Music of the Renaissance will be performed by vocalists, recorders, strings, and brass. The comedic play "The Truth Fairy" will also be presented.
