Quilts of Valor awarded to 16 more Decorah area veterans

16 Decorah area veterans have been awarded Quilts of Valor.

Funding for the quilts was provided through a grant from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.  Members of Decorah Quilts of Valor Chapter 541 created the quilts.

The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting quilts.
