Three vehicles were involved in an accident on Montgomery Street in Decorah Friday afternoon.
Decorah Police say 17-year-old Kurtis Gehling of Decorah was adjusting the controls of his radio as he approached the intersection of Highway 9. He ran into the back of a stopped vehicle owned by 37-year-old Amy Decker of Cresco. The force of the collision pushed Decker's vehicle into another stopped vehicle, this one owned by 53-year-old Joanna Hartz of Decorah.
A passenger in Decker's car, 29-year-old Heather Thornton of Cresco, was injured and taken to Winneshiek Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.
