Independence man now faces two criminal charges in connection with a bar fight

The Decorah Police Department says an Independence man now faces two criminal charges in connection with an October 27th fight at Roscoe's Bar on College Drive.

19-year-old Cyrus Butters of Independence was arrested October 31st on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Now a second criminal charge--Simple Assault--has been added for allegedly assaulting a different individual on October 31st.
