Letter to the Editor: Decorah is a noisy town, but roosters crowing are the least of our "problems"

(The following Letter to the Editor has been submitted by C. Dennis Ohlert of Decorah):

"Concerning the revival of the Decorah Chicken Wars.......

I think I would much rather hear a rooster crowing than screeching tires, loud tailpipes and
car sound systems so loud you can't hear yourself think.  How about a crackdown on that?
This is an extremely noisy town and chickens are the least of our "noise" problems.

Get a grip, complainers.  Perhaps you'd like something done about chirping birds, too."
