Euphoria Coffee in West Union has won a $20,000 grant by finishing first in the "Open 4 Business Contest" sponsored by the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
Euphoria Coffee owners Nick and Jacey Yost say they plan to use the $20,000 grant to purchase additional roasting equipment and to create an outdoor gathering space at their new Main Street location.
"Euphoria's owners have created a welcoming place for customers, but they're also giving back to their community and supporting other small businesses by sourcing their ingredients locally," said Iowa Economic Development Authority Director Debi Durham.
