


The Winnesheik County Sheriff's Office reports two vehicles were involved in a crash Monday afternoon around 3:00 p.m.
78-year-old Ruth Balk of Lawler and 72-year-old Patricia Kriener of Waucoma were westbound on Highway 24. Kriener was attempting to make a left turn onto County Road W-14 when Balk passed and struck Kriener. The collision caused a combined $19,000 of damage. Both drivers sustained minor injuries but were not transported. Balk was ticketed for Passing Contrary to Highway Markings
