A witness in the case of a Fort Atkinson man charged with Third Degree Sexual Abuse has requested that the charges against the man be dropped. As a result, a judge has dismissed the charge against 54-year-old Joseph Taylor.
Taylor had been accused of entering a home in Spillville in July of last year and performing a sex act on a woman against her will or by force. The woman filed a complaint with the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office a few days later. Now, however, the woman has asked that the charge against Taylor be dismissed. The judge in the case has agreed and dismissed the charge without prejudice.
