Decorah Community Food Pantry is looking for more volunteers

The Decorah Community Food Pantry Board is trying to recruit more volunteers.  The board has scheduled a volunteer orientation and training session for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3rd, at First Lutheran Church.

Board members will describe the opportunities for volunteering available to help keep the Pantry running smoothly, then will give a tour of the Pantry, and will explain current and new procedures. Orientation meetings will be held every first Wednesday of the month.

There will also be a refresher session for current volunteers on Wednesday, July 17th, at 10:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church. This will be a chance for current volunteers to learn about new procedures and share ideas and concerns.
