Photo of the Day: Tree planting project adds greenery along Mechanic Street and Short Street

Volunteers from the Luther college football team, the Decorah Rotary Club and the Decorah Tree Board have helped make Mechanic Street and Short Street look greener.

Using a grant from the local Rotary Club and from the Rotary District, the City of Decorah purchased 43 trees.  Over the weekend, those trees were planted by volunteers.
