There's a new administrator at Aase Haugen Senior Services.

Orson Bauder has begun working as the new home administrator, succeeding Jeffrey Schmidt.  Bauder brings more than 30 years of experience in long term care and senior living to Aase Haugen. His most recent position was executive director at Accura Healthcare in Cresco.

Bauder is a graduate of St. Ambrose University.  He holds a degree in Business Administration and a degree in Health Care Administration.

"Mr. Bauder has led many initiatives that have resulted in improved staff satisfaction, quality performance and growth in his previous roles," said Aase Haugen board of directors president Steve Langland.

Said Bauder, "I have a passion for this work and its people, and I believe this is my calling in life and what God wants me to do."

Continuum Healthcare has been providing management services to Aase Haugen since 2012. "Our goal is to ensure smooth continued operations of our programming, and we are confident that along with Orson's leadership, we have the staff and support to do so," said Continuum Healthcare president Tim Mortenson.

Aase Haugen Senior Services provides independent living, assisted living, a dedicated CCDI unit for memory care and a 24/7 skilled nursing home for those in need of medical, rehabilitative and restorative care or long-term care.
