The Iowa Department of Agriculture says the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Iowa rose four cents this week. You'll pay an average of $2.08 a gallon for gas in Iowa, although there are some gas stations in Davenport charging $1.84 a gallon.
In Winneshiek County, according to Gas Buddy, the average price of gasoline is now $2.12 a gallon. That's more expensive than some parts of the state, but still well below the national average of $2.27 a gallon. It's even lower than the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Iowa one year ago--$2.55.
