


During the early morning hours on Tuesday, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident in Glenwood Township.
39-year-old Jacob Seelinger of Decorah was traveling south on Drake Hill Road approaching a curve when he lost control and left the roadway. Seelinger went through a fence, struck a utility pole and ended up in a field. No ambulance transport was needed. Seelinger was cited for failure to maintain control. The accident caused $11,250 of damage.
