Winneshiek Medical Center is offering an Anxiety and Depression Coping Skills group therapy which will run for eight consecutive weeks starting Tuesday, January 15th at 5:15 p.m.
The closed group is for adults age 18 and older; offering a safe place to talk with others. The group therapy is more like a class, because it teaches positive coping skills and strategies to manage stress, then gives participants valuable feedback on how they are using the coping skills.
Space is limited; regular attendance is expected.
In order to participate in the group, someone must first schedule a consultation with Winneshiek Medical Center psychologist Dr. Bridgette Hensley, the facilitator of the group. Appointments can be made by calling Winneshiek Medical Center Decorah Clinic at 563-382-2911.
