Accident causes $7500 in damages

A two-car accident on College Drive caused $7,500 in damages, according to Decorah Police.

61-year-old Deb Snyder of Decorah was traveling east on Iowa Avenue and stopped at the stop sign at College Drive.  She failed to see a vehicle travelling south on College Drive being driven by 73-year-old James Miles of Decorah, pulled out into the street and struck Miles' Mercedes.

Neither driver was injured.  No tickets were issued.
